Terms of service
The deal, in plain English.
What you agree to when you sign up. We try to keep the legalese to the minimum we can responsibly write, but read it before you click.

What this is
These terms (the “Terms”) cover your use of Trivsel. They’re a contract between you (the business owner, your business, your staff) and us (Trivsel, Inc.). When you sign up, you accept them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do that.
Your account
You sign up with an email address. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure — don’t share passwords or magic-link emails with people you don’t trust, and tell us right away if something looks off. You can add staff with their own roles (manager, kitchen, kiosk); only the people you explicitly invite get in.
Your business and your data
Your business’s content — pages, events, bookings, photos, customer lists, contracts, conversation history — belongs to you. You can edit, export, or delete it at any time. We host it; we don’t claim it. You’re responsible for what your business publishes, including making sure it’s legal, accurate, and respects others’ rights.
Subscriptions and billing
Trivsel is free while you run on a Trivsel subdomain (e.g., your-business.trivsel.app). When you connect your own custom domain, the subscription starts at $29/month, billed monthly. See the pricing page for the canonical numbers.
Card on file at signup.We collect a payment method when you sign up so we can prevent abuse, but we don’t charge it until you connect a custom domain. If you stay on the subdomain, you’re never charged.
Cancellation.You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period; the site reverts to a Trivsel subdomain afterward. We don’t offer refunds for partial months unless we made a mistake.
Payments to you
When your customers book an event, they pay you directly through your connected Square or Stripe account. The money never lands on our servers, and we never take a cut of your bookings— not on tickets, not on tastings, not on weddings. Your payment processor takes its own fee on each transaction (Square or Stripe’s standard rates); we don’t add anything on top. The only thing we charge is the monthly subscription fee above. If you disconnect your processor, we stop touching that side of the flow.
How AI fits in
Trivsel is operated through an AI we provide. It acts on your behalf based on what you tell it. You’re responsible for what you ask for — if you ask it to send an email or refund a booking, that action is taken under your name. It won’t take destructive actions (mass refunds, deletions, contract cancellations) without confirming with you first.
We don’t train AI on your business’s content, your customers’ data, or your conversation history. The AI provider doesn’t store, log, or train on what you send or what comes back — see the Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Acceptable use
Use the platform for legitimate business operations. Don’t:
- use it for illegal activity, spam, harassment, or fraud;
- attempt to access other tenants’ data or our internal systems;
- scrape the platform or use it as a backend for unrelated products;
- impersonate anyone, including us;
- upload content you don’t have rights to.
We can suspend or close accounts that violate this. We’ll tell you why.
Service availability
We work hard to keep the platform up, but we don’t currently offer a contractual uptime SLA. We’ll give reasonable notice for planned downtime. If a critical bug hits your business, we’ll work with you to recover quickly. Billing disputes never break your public site — we lock the admin only and keep the customer-facing pages live.
Termination
You can close your account at any time and export your data first. We can suspend or close accounts that materially break these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other tenants or our platform. After closure, we’ll keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it from active systems.
Intellectual property
You own your content. We own Trivsel — the code, the AI instructions, our brand, our docs. Using the service doesn’t give you any claim on the underlying technology. We use your business’s content only to run the service for you (rendering pages, processing bookings, carrying out actions you ask for).
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that it’ll always work as intended or be error-free. Our liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you in the admin and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updates.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
